Dr Mrs Patankar donates Medicines.

Dr Mrs Patankar came to know about Givemedicines.org she immediately called me and ask me to collect the Sample medicines she gets. Thank you Doctor. May your tribe increase. She has asked me to visit her every 15 days and collect the samples. I have asked her to introduce Givemedicines.org to one more doctor.

Mr Shiraz Doongaji Donates Medicines.

Today early in the morning Shiraz Dropped a bag full of unused medicines at my place. When i sorted out these medicines they were worth Rs 800/- approximately. Out of which medicines worth Rs 300/- were past their expiry dates.
The other medicines worth Rs 500/- were donated to the Ramkrishna Mission at Nagpur.

Essential drugs make the difference between Life and Death

We cannot do without medicines. Whether it is to ease pain, control body functions or fight infections. Medicines can often make the difference between life and death.
But we often end up having extra medicines, left over from a treatment – from pain killers to antibiotics and specialized drugs that can keep someone alive.

Often we push them away into the back of the medicine chest, totally forgotten until they expire and are useless to any body.

Now you can do something with those medicines. Help in saving a life. Donate it to www.givemedicines.org - a web based platform which aims to bring individuals and organizations who wish to donate unused medicines, and organizations and NGO's who need medicines, together. It would go towards helping those who cannot afford to buy the medicines they need. All you have to do is find a drop box location near your city or mail the drugs to Khushroo Poacha at 127, New Colony, Nagpur 440001. If you know of an NGO that could use your medication, you could drop it there or find one at our site (www.givemedicines.org). Or better still, you could make that extra effort and organize a drive in your locality to educate and put together a usable package for a charitable NGO. And make that vital difference between life and death
